Rules

  • Please keep in mind the safety of your Pug as well as the other Pugs and people around you. Do not bring known Dog Aggressive or Human Aggressive Pugs to the playgroups.
  • Owners must be in full control of their Pugs at all times.
  • Do not bring your Pug if she is in heat.
  • Be mindful of your pug's behaviour. Any Pug displaying humping, aggression, reactivity, or otherwise offensive behaviours may be asked to leave at the discretion of the organizer.
  • Please do not give out treats to other Pugs , many Pugs have sensitive stomachs and/or allergies you may not be aware of. Ask the owner if it's ok for their Pug to have a treat.
  • Be prepared to bring poop bags on any public outdoor events and also to clean up after your Pug in any indoor setting.
  • To effectively plan the meet-up we ask that you RSVP by contacting the organizer ahead of time. It does cost us to rent these facilities and if we do not have enough people coming we may have to cancel the event.
  • The event organizer reserves the right to excuse members of this group in the occasion of inappropriate behaviours to other members or dogs. This includes inappropriate handling of the dogs either physically or verbally - including but not limited to using excessive force or objects to hit your dog or any other dog, or screaming and yelling at your dog or other dogs.
  • Children are welcome, however they must be well behaved and under control at all times.

*Please note each owner is responsible for the care of his or her dog during all events. Any incidences that may occur as a result of attending a Lethbridge Pugsters event cannot be held against the group or its organizer. By attending an event you acknowledge this fact and will not hold liability against anyone other than yourself. This includes, but is not limited to, illness, injury and such issues.*
